SCARY PHOTOS: Trailers Causing Havoc On Lagos Roads

With the recent spate of accidents in Lagos caused by heavy-duty vehicles, the government places a ban on their operation during the day. These trailers in the space of two weeks have recorded fatal accidents. Just a week ago, a trailer skid off a bridge in Ojuelegba and landed on two vehicles, crushing the occupants. It is obvious however that the directive of the state government to trailer operators not to ply the road between 6am to 9pm is not being followed as these heavy-duty vehicles still continue about their normal duties during the day. Photojournalist Michael Obasa provide pictures that show that the law is not firmly adhered to.
